Dr Virendra Berera MB BS, FAMASDr Virendra Berera
MB BS, FAMAS, Vocationally Registered General Practitioner
Dr Berera established Victoria Road Medical Practice in 1976 and has been practising general medicine ever since, 47 years and counting.
He holds a Fellowship with the Australasian Medical Acupuncture Society and speaks Greek and Hindi alongside English.
His particular interests are family medicine, hypertension and heart disease, children's and women's health, sports medicine, and diabetes. Patients tend to stay with him for decades, long enough that he now sees the grandchildren of families he first met as young parents.
Familiar Faces, Every Visit
Between them, the reception team speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi and Greek, so most patients can talk through what's going on in the language they're most comfortable in.
